SPECIAL SPROCKETS

B&W Klaver is the manufacturer of sprockets. B&W Klaver has the options of uncoiling milling or uncoiling stitching of sprockets. The advantage of unwinding cutting compared to milling is that when cutting sprockets, a flange can be turned behind the row of teeth. This eliminates the need to weld a flange to a sprocket afterwards, which in turn ensures a sturdier construction. Sprockets that are plugged (with a flange behind the last row of teeth) are often used for pallet rollers.

B&W Klaver can stitch and mill many types of sprocket teeth, from British Standard (BS) teeth to American Standard (ASA) teeth. Take a look at our list of pitch knives and cutters that we currently have in stock. If we do not currently have a cutter or core cutter for your desired toothing, we can often obtain the desired cutter or core cutter very quickly through our many contacts.

We also have the option of cutting so-called triebstock gears. For sprockets with triebstock teeth, the chain is used as a kind of rack over which the sprockets move.

We have the ability to produce sprockets from many different types of material, including:

  • Many Stainless Steel types (RVS304, RVS316, RVS430 etc.).
  • Celeron (Hartgewebe HGW2082)
  • All steel grades (C45, S355, 42CrMo4, 16MnCr5 etc.)
  • Plastics (POM, Pa6, HMPE etc.)
  • Plastics with a steel core (Lauramid)

B&W Klaver produces sprockets in any desired series, from single pieces to thousands.
We can produce sprockets with diameters ranging from 8mm to 1100mm.
