GEARS

B&W Klaver is the manufacturer of straight-milled gears. B&W Klaver has the options of unwinding milling or unwinding stitching gears. The advantage of unwinding milling over milling is that when milling gears, a flange can be turned behind the row of teeth. This eliminates the need to weld a flange to a gear afterwards, which in turn ensures a sturdier construction.

B&W Klaver can cut and mill many types of gear teeth, from Modul gears to DP and CP gears. Take a look at our list of pitch knives and cutters that we currently have in stock. If we do not currently have a cutter or pitch knife for your desired toothing, we can often obtain the desired cutter or pitch knife very quickly through our many contacts.

We have the ability to produce gears from many different types of material, including:

  • Many Stainless Steel types (RVS304, RVS316, RVS430 etc.).
  • Celeron (Hartgewebe HGW2082)
  • All steel types (C45, S355, 42CrMo4, 16MnCr5 etc.)
  • Plastics (POM, Pa6, HMPE etc.)
  • Plastics with a steel core (Lauramid)

B&W Klaver produces gears in any desired series, from single pieces to thousands. We can produce gears with diameters ranging from 8mm to 1100mm.
